Dhaulagiri Expedition Autumn- (8,167m)

Nepal's Dhaulagiri I, located 8,167 meters above sea level, is the world's 7th highest mountain. The "White Mountain" is part of the Himalayas and was first climbed by a Swiss-Austrian-Nepali team on May 13, 1960. As a result of its extreme, technical, and challenging conditions, the peak has become a favorite among climbers. The peak has become a favorite among climbers since it is known for its extreme, technical, and challenging conditions. Nepal's Dhaulagiri Mountain measures 8167 meters (26,795 ft.) above sea level, making it the world's seventh highest mountain. The Gandaki river is also the highest in the world on Dhaulagiri 1. It was first climbed on 13 May 1960 by Swiss-Austrian Nepal expedition. Annapurna 8091m. The mountain is located 34km (21 miles) east of Dhaulagiri at a height of 26,545ft. There is a river called Kali Gandaki that flows between them, forming the deepest gorge in the world. The town of Pokhara is south of the Annapurna range, an important region and a popular tourist destination for climbers and trekkers.

"Dhaulagiri face" refers to the massive, steep, and treacherous South Face of Mount Dhaulagiri (8,167m) in Nepal. Known as one of the most challenging mountaineering challenges in the world, it is a nearly vertical rock and ice wall measuring 15,000 feet (4,600 meters). The name Dhaulagiri derives from the Sanskrit words Dhaula = white and Giri = mountain, which, when combined, became Dhaulagiri. Dhaulagiri, the "White Mountain," is a dramatic 120km-long massif in Nepal. There are vast snowfields, glaciers, and sharp, steep walls along this 8,167m peak, including a renowned, near-vertical 4,600m south face. The landscape ranges from subtropical forests to alpine arctic, with deep gorges, high passes, and rugged areas like the Hidden Valley.

Dhaulagiri Base Camp: This trek is a highly challenging and strenuous adventure, best suited to physically fit trekkers seeking a remote, tented high-altitude expedition rather than a casual hike up Dhaulagiri. The best season to visit is spring and autumn, when one can cross the French Pass (5,360m) and explore the snowy Hidden Valley. The remote, challenging, and icy (4,800m) destination is seen as one of Nepal's Western Himalayas' most popular trek destinations. The park is situated near Dhaulagiri 8167m offering stunning views of the world's seventh highest peak, requiring acclimatization and camping.

Basecamp to Camp 1: It is generally located 5,800 meters (19350 feet) from Dhaulagiri Camp Base Cam to Camp 1. The camp was established after crossing avalanche-prone areas from the base camp and acts as the mountain's first high-altitude camp at 8,167 meters.
Camp 1 to Camp 2: The standard Northeast Ridge route takes you through Dhaulagiri Camp 1 and Camp 2 at an altitude of 6,400 meters (21,000 feet).

It serves as a key high-altitude camp during the expedition, located between Camp 1 (5,850m) and Camp 3 or the final summit push (7,400m).

Camp 1 to camp 3: Normally, the summit push begins at Dhaulagiri Camp 3, which is located at around 7,400 meters (about 24,280 feet) on the Northeast Ridge. A traverse into the dangerous "White Spider" zone to reach the final high camp, along the steep northeast ridge and the heavily crevassed "White Spider" zone, is a highly technical and demanding part of the expedition.

Camp 3 to Summit: A grueling 8–10-hours summit push leads to the 8,167-meters summit from Dhaulagiri Camp 3 - 7,400m. Usually started at midnight, the climb begins at midnight through steep ice and snow. The French Couloir is the most technical part, passing through narrow corridors and often following the Northeast Ridge. After the monsoon, the autumn season offers stable, clear, and dry weather after the monsoon, which makes it the best time for technical climbing due to warmer temperatures, better snow conditions, and lower winds.
